- 1 lb Pork Chops, Bone-in thin cut
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing Wine
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1.5 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1.5 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 0 pinch White & Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1 cup Vegetable Oil
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 0 Green Onion, optional
Instructions
- Pound the pork chops to a 1/4” thickness, then cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- Mix the marinade ingredients in a bowl and massage into the pork chops. Let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Combine the sauce ingredients in another bowl, stirring well to blend.
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, aiming for about 350°F.
- Coat the marinated pork with the cornstarch and flour mixture, then fry until golden brown.
- Remove pork from the skillet and drain excess oil. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the prepared sauce to garlic, stirring until reduced and thickened.
- Return the crispy pork to the pan, tossing gently in the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.
