Description
A vibrant, neon-blue Witches Brew Halloween Cocktail that’s easy to make and perfect for parties. It features a shocking color, crisp citrus flavor, and a spooky black sugar rim.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Grey Goose vodka
- 1 oz Blue Curaçao
- 1 oz Triple Sec
- Juice of 1 lime (≈1 oz)
- Black sanding sugar for rimming
- Ice
Instructions
- Rim the glass: Swipe the rim with a lime wedge. Dip into black sanding sugar, twisting to coat evenly. Set aside.
- Load the shaker: Add vodka, Blue Curaçao, Triple Sec, and fresh lime juice with ice.
- Shake hard: 10–15 seconds until the tin feels frosty.
- Strain & serve: Strain into the prepared glass, keeping the pour centered so the black rim stays pristine.
- Enjoy: Serve immediately for maximum sparkle and chill.
Notes
- For clean rims, pat the outside of the glass dry before rimming. Rim only the outside so sugar doesn’t fall into the drink.
- If batching, pre-rim glasses and let them air-dry on a rack.
- For a less sweet version, reduce Blue Curaçao to ¾ oz, keep Triple Sec at 1 oz, and increase lime to 1¼ oz.
- To make a Zero-Proof Mocktail, use NA “vodka-style” spirit, blue curaçao–style syrup, orange syrup, and fresh lime juice.
