Description
Irresistible Sweet and Sticky Steak Bites for Busy Nights
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Sirloin Steak (or Flank Steak) (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (low sodium recommended)
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 2 cloves Minced Garlic (fresh preferred)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger (grated)
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (adjust to taste)
- to taste Salt and Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Green Onions (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Add the cut steak, tossing to ensure every piece is well coated. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes for maximum flavor.
- Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil to help prevent the steak bites from sticking while cooking.
- Place the marinated steak bites in a single layer in the skillet. Sear them for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are beautifully browned and cooked to your preference. The marinade will thicken and create a sticky glaze that envelops the steak.
- Once cooked, transfer the steak bites to a serving platter. Sprinkle with fresh green onions and sesame seeds for that perfect finishing touch. Enjoy while warm for the best experience!
