- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top if desired.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
