Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Meat (chicken, turkey, beef, or pork)
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • 2 cups Doritos (Crushed)
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 1 medium Onion (diced)

Instructions

  2. Mix together your ground meat, salsa, crushed Doritos, taco seasoning, cumin, shredded cheese, diced onions, garlic powder, and eggs in a large bowl.
  3. Layer half of the mixture in the loaf pan, add a layer of cheese, then top with the remaining mixture, sealing the edges well.
  4. Brush taco sauce or salsa generously on top for added flavor and moisture.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes, brush with more sauce and sprinkle cheese on top, then bake an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should reach 160°F (71°C).
  7. Rest the meatloaf for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
