- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (full-fat recommended)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, sugar-free ketchup, mustard
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Drain off excess grease from the browned ground beef.
- Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Remove the skillet from heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream.
- Stir in the yellow mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the ground beef mixture into the bowl with the cheese sauce.
- Stir well to combine.
- Stir in 3/4 cup of the cheddar cheese and 3/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
- Gently fold in the chopped dill pickle chips.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the casserole is heated through.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- Serve hot, optionally topped with your favorite cheeseburger toppings.
Notes
- For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the ground beef mixture.
- Cooked and crumbled bacon can be added for more flavor.
- Experiment with different cheeses like Monterey Jack or pepper jack.
- Sautéed mushrooms can be added to the ground beef mixture.
- The casserole can be assembled ahead of time (up to 24 hours) and baked later.
- This casserole freezes well; let it cool completely before wrapping tightly and freezing for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before baking.
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with a plant-based ground meat alternative.
