- 150g Feta Cheese, crumbled
- 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 teaspoon Honey or Maple Syrup
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard. Add 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup, salt, and pepper to taste. Set this aside to let the flavors meld.
- Rinse the Feldsalat under cold water to remove any dirt. Spin it in a salad spinner or pat it dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- In a dry skillet over medium heat, add 1 cup of walnuts. Toast them for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are golden and fragrant. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning!
- In a large salad bowl, add the washed Feldsalat, the toasted walnuts, and 150g of crumbled feta cheese.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving. Toss gently to combine, ensuring all the ingredients are coated.
- Plate the salad and serve immediately. Enjoy the delightful crunch of the walnuts and the creamy feta with each bite!
