Description
These Eggnog Cinnamon Rolls are a warm and fluffy holiday treat. They are infused with creamy eggnog and layered with sweet cinnamon-spice swirls, topped with a silky eggnog glaze.

- 1 cup warm eggnog
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 to 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup eggnog
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Warm the eggnog to 100–110°F and combine with yeast and 1 tbsp sugar in a mixing bowl. Let sit until foamy.
- Add remaining sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Mix. Slowly add flour until dough forms. Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and let rise in warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours or until doubled.
- Mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg for the filling.
- Roll dough into 12×18-inch rectangle. Spread with softened butter. Sprinkle filling evenly.
- Roll into a log from the long side. Cut into 12 equal rolls with dental floss or sharp knife.
- Place rolls into greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Let rise again for 30–45 minutes until puffy.
- Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 22–28 minutes until golden.
- While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, eggnog, vanilla, and nutmeg for glaze.
- Let rolls cool for 5–10 minutes. Drizzle with eggnog glaze and serve warm.
