Description
Creamy Beef Pasta is a warm and delightful dish that combines rich flavors with a velvety sauce for the perfect comfort meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Pasta (Any shape works, but penne is ideal.)
- 1 pound Ground Beef (Opt for lean ground beef.)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (This is the secret to a velvety sauce.)
- 3 cloves Garlic (Fresh, minced for flavor.)
- 1 medium Onion (Diced yellow onion.)
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (Freshly grated for maximum flavor.)
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning (A blend of herbs.)
- to taste Salt (Essential for flavor enhancement.)
- to taste Pepper (Essential for flavor enhancement.)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (For sautéing the aromatics.)
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add your favorite pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
- In a skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing for about 5 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for about 7 minutes until browned, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream, gradually adding reserved pasta water until the desired sauce consistency is achieved. Mix in Parmesan until melted and creamy.
- Once pasta is drained, add it to the skillet and gently stir to coat every piece in the sauce.
- Plate the creamy beef pasta and optionally finish with additional Parmesan or a sprinkle of parsley before serving hot.
