Description

Make refreshing candy cane ice cream at home. This easy recipe requires only a few ingredients and no ice cream maker.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk and peppermint extract.
  3. Stir in the crushed candy canes.
  4. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan, cover, and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  5. Serve with extra crushed candy canes.

Notes

  • For a stronger peppermint flavor, add a few drops of peppermint oil.
  • You can use any type of candy cane for this recipe.
  • Store leftover ice cream in the freezer for up to a week.
