- 2 ripe but firm pears
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/3 cup fresh or dried cranberries
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes or black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Wash and slice the pears in half lengthwise. Scoop out the cores to create a cavity in each half.
- Place the pear halves cut side up in the baking dish. Brush each with olive oil.
- Fill each hollow with crumbled feta and cranberries.
- Drizzle honey over each pear and sprinkle with chili flakes or black pepper if using.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until pears are tender and slightly golden.
- Remove from oven, rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh thyme. Serve warm.
