Description
Transform classic pizza rolls into an irresistible snack with an unparalleled crunch using your air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tube (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup beef pepperoni slices
- Marinara sauce (for dipping)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Pinch of salt
- Olive oil (for spraying)
Instructions
- Unroll pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface; gently stretch to an even rectangle (approx. 10×15 inches).
- Sprinkle 1 tsp Italian seasoning and a pinch of salt evenly over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border clear around all edges.
- Evenly layer 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese and 1 cup beef pepperoni slices onto the seasoned dough, up to the clear border.
- Starting from one of the longer sides, carefully but firmly roll the dough up tightly into a log. Pinch the seam closed along the entire length.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 1-inch thick rounds (approx. 16 rolls). Place them seam-side down.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes. Lightly spray or brush the tops and sides of the assembled pizza rolls with olive oil.
- Arrange the rolls in a single layer in the preheated air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes. Carefully open the basket, flip each roll, and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes, or until deeply golden brown and crispy.
- Remove rolls from the air fryer and let them rest on a wire rack for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.
